auto-login not working on sddm, plasma/debian
On Debian 4,9, plas,ashell 5.8.6, sddm (0.14.0 I guess?)...
I used the System Settings | Startup and Shutdown GUI
to turn on Autologin for my username. This resulted in an
/etc/sddm.conf file that looks correct. Rebooted.
It seems to have no effect whatsoever; I just get the
normal login offering (I am the only login user that
I set up on the machine). I have to type in my correct
password like always. No effect at all.
Maybe there is something else I have to do since it's
Debian, or maybe sddm is broken. or maybe there
is something else I don't know.
I have a wallet that's locked with a key (e.g. for Wifi passwords),
but it has a null passphrase so I don't notice it. If that has
anything to do with anything.
