I'm trying to compile xawtv for my ATI TV Wonder PCI card and I get the following message. I'm using debain sarge with kernel 2.6.8. xawtv 3.94 Any help would be appreciated. Or even an alternative to xawtv.

I too have this problem. It is caused by xorg-x11 version 6.8.0 and possibly 6.8.1 according to the report of another user in a different forum. My work arround until this is fixed is to use version 6.7.0 of xorg-x11. I use Gentoo Linux so it was easy for me to go back to an earlier version.
I looked at the source code and don't understand what is going on. It looks like a macro expansion is failing. My guess is that some header files have been corrupted accidently by the xorg-x11 upgrade to version 6.8.0.
