Smile "apt-get autoremove" in Debian Etch/Sid available?

I use Debian Etch,apt-pinned with sid and experimental repos.now with latest apt,i cant get autoremove option which comes gr8 handy.
it is available in ubuntu edgy distro.
Code:
~#apt-get autoremove
above command actually can remove unwanted packages removed automatically when u uninstall a package-its dependencies for eg;
for now i am using deborphan for getting those unwanted packages..
Code:
~# deborphan  --guess-all
So any ideas guys?

aptitude handles removals very well. You should use it exclusively tho. Just use it from the command line with the same syntax as apt-get. before you do anything else, run ... # aptitude keep-all ... otherwise it'll be trying to get rid of lots of stuff you want to keep.
