Apache-SSL with PHP problem

Hi this is my server info Apache/1.3.33 Ben-SSL/1.55 Server at 10.0.0.3 Port 443

I have Apache-SSL and Apache running. PHP works with Apache but not with Apache-SSL. When I pull up a page, in this case my phpmyadmin directory on the server, the browser wants to download the PHP file. I take it that the server is not processing the PHP and is sending the PHP file to the browser as is. Can anyone help me turn PHP on for apache-SSL?

Any help would be really cool.

make sure php is installed

find your apache config file. on slackware, it is /etc/apache/httpd/conf

find the line that says "Include /etc/apache/mod_php.conf" and uncomment it (remove the # at the beginnign of the line.

Save the file, and restart apache

apachectl restart

While your at it, you might want to add index.php to the mid_dir.c list
