Add driver to next Debian Linux officical release

Dear Sir

Now We have built a driver (for RAID card) supported Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 and verified it in our environment.

We would like provide to our client the driver that compatible with next Debian release build.

How do i follow this issue?

Thanks a lot

Submit your driver to the Debian Project and go from there. The developers will tell you if your driver confirms to the Debian Policy. Keep in mind that any propriety (i.e. closed or binary) driver will not make it into the Unstable branch.

If your driver is accepted, it'll go into Unstable for extensive testing. If proven bug-free it's moved to Testing for more... testing Only after that the driver will be declared Stable and taken in into the next Stable release. Note that the whole process takes a while and it's unlikely you'll be able to get it into Lenny when that goes Stable. However, Etch is only a few months old (as Stable, that is) and no Stable release is expected for another year orso, so perhaps you guys are lucky and do make it into Lenny.

What exactly is it you want to do?

If you just need to supply your client with the driver you just do that.

As for the 'next Debian release build':

Assuming you are talking about the next stable release nobody knows when that will happen and what will be included.

If you want to supply your client(s) with an automatic upgrade just ship when Debian releases a new version or setup your own .deb repository.
Problem is that your driver is likely to be part of the kernel. That way you don't need it included in Debian but in the kernel if you want to open source it with a license that allows inluding it meaning you'd need to get in touch with the kernel people.
