acclerated graphics

Jus installed an Nvidia 6200 agp card. I am running
debian 2.6.8-3-386. I would like to know what is the
best way to install agp support. There are the drivers
from the nvidia site. Then the is the method given
in the Debian-nvidia howto installation.. I had tried
both earlier and could not get either to work. System
finally got so confused so that I reinstalled the os.
Now i am back to the point of reinstalling the nvidia
drivers and do not want to rerun the last experience.
Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi, the nvidia installer should work well.
Maybe you havent update your xorg.conf file to use accel.
You should also configure the xorg config file to use nvagp if your kernel do net povide agpgart support.
I the nvidia video drivers install fail please send the log.
