2.6.24 repeated keystrokes bug?

Hi,

I just upgraded my kernel to 2.6.24. Since the kernel upgrade, once in a while keystrokes are repeated (*many* times)... It seems to happen quite randomly.
This did not happen with 2.6.22 so I tend to think it comes from the kernel.
I tried ec_intr=0 and noacpi at boot without success...
Any help would be *greatly* appreciated! Not that it happens 100% of the time but it's a *very* annoying bug...

Many tks!
A.

Woah, I get this too! Only in my terminal emulator though, it seems. And only with the enter key.

Thanks for your answers.
Actually for me too it "seems" to only happen in my terminal emulator; everything is fine in VTs... and I also only experienced it with Enter key.
Update init? You mean update the initrd.img? If it's what you are talking about then yes I updated it as it's a laptop and suspend needs it...
My first guess was that it could be from the touchpad driver but before looking into that if someone solved this problem it would be easier... :-)
Thanks all!
A.
