dsl don't boot from cd when laptop is powered on

hi i've download dsl-2.2.iso and burn it on a cd, but when i spent the laptop and then powered on it doesn't boot from a cd. in my system configuration cd drive is set to be boot first. need a help. thanks for all.

Did you remember to burn the iso as an image? You can't just create a data CD and burn the .iso file to it. You have to "Burn from image" or something like that.

What burning software are you using?

yes dont forget that creating a cd from an iso image is different to copying the data to the cdr (which will just copy the iso file).

maybe there is a different option for creating cd's from ISOs on your software...
