Does anybody know when the next version of DSL will be out that is based on Knoppix 3.4? I'm trying to get my Dell 300m to work with it, but the CD-ROM is seen as USB because it is through the docking station. The new knoppix 3.4 works great with it, but i want a smaller distro, like DSL, that works on it.
a new one did come out (.7) but it doesn't seem to be based on the 3.4 version of knoppix because it wont boot off of my USB CD-ROM. Thats why i asked the question, just curious when another will come out.
There is also a usbboot.img file in the Damnsmall repository, which
is a workaround, that will enable you to boot from a USB device, via a boot floppy.
