I know of this... however Conectiva he says English, Spanish and Portuguese... e in the truth this question is for the staff of the Conectiva therefore does not have problem some in placing it in Portuguese: -)

When the new packages of Gnome 2.3 in snapshot will be enclosed or more good still Evolution 1.4, Abiword and Gnumeric Abiword 1.0.4 is with strange behaviors as when saved in HTML it duplicates some letters as I only use it I wait a reply on this. since the new version of the Abiword already supports tables and I do not need the weight of the OpenOffice for my works that are well simple.

Olá!
Desculpe se minha pergunta for boba :-) (eu não uso Conectiva) mas não é mais rápido atualizar os programas (pelo menos em alguns casos) pelo site dos desenvolvedores do que esperar pelo snapshot?

Sim mas convenhamos ,que pacotes como Mozilla ,Abiword,Gnumeric além de ser enormes demora uma eternidade para compilar e ainda pode ocorrer o fato de não funcionar ....no snapshot aí há pelo menos 98% de chances de funcionar além de só se instalar o necessário.

O Conectiva é baseado no debian nao? Voce ja ouviu falar do apt-get? Ele ajuda a atualizar, baixar e instalar pactotes pela linha de comando. Talvez voce consiga pacotes mais recentes usando apt-get. Da uma olhada nesse link aqui. Eu tentei ajudar um amigo a instalar apt-get no RedHat, talvez voce ache isso util:

Não o Conectiva não é baseado no Debian , o Conectiva originalmente foi baseado no RedHat o apt-get do Conectiva
e apt para pacotes RPM portado pela conectiva...
o snapshot é equivalente ao RedHat [RawHide] ou Mnadrake Cooker onde novos pacotes são adicionados diariamente.
sim eu conheco o apt-get inclusive só atualizo minha distro através do apt-get e synaptic ...os 2 são nativos no Conectiva linux ...

Snapshot... the Mozilla-1.4 also, at least already I can compile my favourite Web Broeser in its new Galeon version and now test the Epiphany: -)
