All content is available under an Open Source license. Because the site is a wiki, anyone can help the site grow. That means sharing your knowledge with the Linux community has never been easier. Whether you have a great tip to share, would like to improve the entry for your favorite application or are able to help improve spelling/grammar - your contributions really do make a difference. Head to and make an edit today.

A reminder that the results for the 2010 Members Choice Awards have been announced. Visit for a list of winners and for the individual polls with full results. New this year is which includes a summary of each poll in pie chart format.

I'd like to remind all members about two new features we recently added to LQ. First, if you find the content of a post helpful, remember to click Yes next to "Did you find this post helpful?". After receiving a minimum number of Yes votes, the most helpful post in a thread will be highlighted. Second, you are now able to mark a thread as [Solved] by clicking "Mark this thread as solved" under "Thread Tools". The thread will remain open, but this will let other members who are having a similar issue know your thread contains a solution.
