I've looked around https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL but I don't see any roadmap for epel7 listing packages that are planned to be availabile.

Specifically, epel6 included pure-ftpd, but epel7 doesn't and I've been unable to find anything hinting that pure-ftpd will ultimately be in epel7. I use ispconfig and they aren't supporting centos7 because they say they are waiting for pure-ftpd, but I need to update some servers to centos7 and am not looking forward to changing from ispc3 to some other server control panel.

Anyone around here "in the know" re EPEL future plans?

Check this address, https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/pure-ftpd, it shows package state-of-play, history, etc.
