I recently migrated to CentOS-8, and found that my usual latex workflow is disrupted!
I usually use kile+texlive+okular. But the kile and okular on CentOS-8 wants to downgrade the installed poppler libraries, which in turn breaks down the subsequent dnf update/upgrade process!
Anybody has any suggestion on a replacement for kile+texlive+okular that would work on CentOS-8?
I searched texmaker and texstudio and did not find in CentOS-8 repos!
Thanks frankbell.
The forum you linked actually quite dated and on CentOS6. I am using CentOS8, and up to CentOS7 I had no problem with Kile.
Anyways, thank you for the effort! I really appreciate it.
