Fedora Core 3 to Centos 4
I'm a recent Linux convert, although I've experimented with it since the mid 90's with varying success.
A couple of months ago, I successfully installed and configured Fedora Core 3 on a couple of systems. I like it a lot. Every peripheral on bothe systems worked out of the box. This is the first distribution that I can consider as a full featured replacement for Windows.
I'm ready to convert but don't want to get into the cycle of a new OS every 6 months, and like what I read about Centos.
The question:
If I am happy with the way Fedora installs, configures and performs, will I likely be able to achieve the same success with Centos? Is there anything I need to look out for?
Thanks,
