Migrating Portage to Git


Greetings to all,

From today, Calculate Linux uses Git repository to synchronize the portage. Calculate do not make changes to the Portage, leaving the distribution is fully compatible with Gentoo, so you can sync with our server, Portage is not afraid to make any incompatibility.

Portage update performed on average 1-2 times a day as they prepare binary updates. More information can be found here:

On my own, I note the update rate of Git is fantastic
