Remastering Bodhi - a few problems

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but here goes anyway. I am trying to remaster Bodhi. I know that we really don't need one more Linux distribution out there, but I'm really enjoying it and I want to go through with it anyway. I have gotten nearly everything working, but I am having a few problems. Here they are:
*SOLVED*The distro's installer says install Bodhi, how do I make it say install Orange Underscore?

The distro installs as Bodhi in GRUB, again I would like to have it say Orange Underscore

*SOLVED* The bootsplash is Bodhi's, what program does it use for this and how do I change/remove it? I have checked splashy and xsplash and neither are installed. *SOLVED*

*Solved*The default user is named Bodhi with no password on the live cd. How can I make it's username be Orange?

*SOLVED* The distro won't suspend, hibernate, reboot or shutdown from inside the desktop. It will reboot and shutdown from LXDM. *SOLVED*

My distro is based on Bodhi 0.1.3. Any help? I have googled all of this and I can't figure any of it out.

Here's a screenshot of orange underscore:
http://ompldr.org/vNzgxdQ

It's running Pekwm with Lxpanel for those of you who are interested.

Thanks!

So what is the difference with Bodhi 0.1.3, or did you just changed the name?

Kind regards

I find that rather funny. If it is based on Bodhi then it is a remaster of a remaster of a derivation of Debian.

I don't know about that for sure, but it may help to change the content of /etc/issue.

How do you remaster? This should be configurable in your remastering tool.

Please be more specific. Where does it say that?

There are many differences, I'll give a link to the site when it's done so you can see some of them. I am using Remastersys to remaster, I don't know if it has an option or not. As for the installer, the icon on the desktop says Install Bodhi, and the installer refers to itself as Bodhi. I'll try the GRUB fix.

Edit: Found the username editing section of Remastersys.

It should be easy to rename the Icon for the installer, you should find it in /etc/skel/Desktop. I think to change the name in the installer itself you have to repackage it.

Turns out Remastersys can handle editing the installer name and what it refers to the distro as. All that's left is GRUB, as that didn't work.

Check the files /etc/default/grub and /etc/lsb-release an replace the traces of Bodhi with what you would like it to say.

Glad to see someone found our unique repositories and minimalistic approach a good fit for a remaster. If you would like to, feel free to create a "Derivatives" page on our wiki.

Have any other questions feel free to drop them here and I'll check back tomorrow.

Ok, thank you! I'll try your suggestion and check back here. Loved Bodhi, so it was perfect for when I wanted to do a remaster.

By the way, does anyone know why it gives me an error about lxdm every time I try to install/uninstall a package? It all works fine, but the errors are annoying.

Synaptic or apt or whatever tells me that some packages could not be installed and pops up an error that lists LXDM. However both LXDM and the packages I wanted to install in the first place work just fine.
