This are the outputs:
Code:
dpkg -l libefl
ii libefl 1.23.3-1bionic0 amd64 Enlightenment Foundation Libraries

Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list | grep bodhi
deb [trusted=yes] http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/ bionic b5main
If I comment out this source with a #, the update of the packages is failing, because esudo is not found anymore and there's no package available, anymore. But without it, Synaptic crashes while updating the packages and so does mintupdate, too.

Don't comment out

Code:
deb [trusted=yes] http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi/ bionic b5main
Run the below commands on a terminal. It should restore your efl to the proper version. I am assuming you are running the 64 bit version of bodhi. If you are running the legacy version tell me.

Code:
wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/ggbs92qgif2jzgv/restore_efl.sh
chmod +x restore_efl.sh
./restore_efl.sh
As a general rule don't run scripts downloaded on the internet without understanding them. Look at it first.

You will not lose any programs installed except for changing efl versions.

And for the record esudo didn't go anywhere it is still in the repos.

Glad to hear it worked

And btw I doubt exterminator can be fixed to work with efl 1.23.3, but i haven't tried. It seems more like an issue with efl itself. Sometime I will test it against efl 1.24.1 the current version and see if the issue persists. If does persist then time permitting I will look it over. Try to figure out what is going on.

You should also check your python-efl versions both python and python3 if that is installed. It should match your efl version, if not you will need to install the proper python-efl version.
