Progress

I love Linux, I wish I had never had to suffer with Windblows. I have been going through tutorials to learn the Shell, and it is fantastic. I always felt like the computer was supposed to be useful, and not create extra tedious problems that can not be fixed.
I learned that the computer even runs off of electricity, and not the constant pumping of the mouse. Keyboard shortcuts I never knew of. I still have not made progress with the speaker issue. But Linux has allowed my to and my computer to be great friends, and not enemies. I also know that her loyalty to me, cannot be easily compromised.
There is a reason that great kingdoms survived if they were built with solid structure. I don't know why I assumed that the marsh was ever a safe place. If it was not my husband running scripts, my windlow (asta la) vista, would have fallen apart when it rained.
I hope to be able to contribute more to this community. I am very thankful that you are here, and that I finally found you. I have felt alone in a desert, but I was never alone, just lost without direction. It is a fact; that for every dream that is lost, another one comes true!
I am part of the Linux group on campus now too. ;-)
If you want to change the world, you do it one person at a time.
