Life with GNU/Linux/Slackware

Posted 02-08-2006 at 09:08 AM by cwwilson721

Hey, all. Just started the blogging thing here.
My life with linux has been,um, interesting. 99% of the questions I've asked in the Slackware forum get answered by knowledgeable people that also ask the correct questions.

The other forums? Forget about it! Either they answer the wrong question, or don't even bother reading the entire post. (Ex: Asked about setting up a DHCP server, and was told I have to setup NAT, which in the original post was already stated as being setup)

Thank God I have Slackware. The learning curve is steep, but now I have a SLIGHT grasp on what's going on....Still can't get DHCP working right...oh well, another day....
