Posted 09-07-2007 at 01:16 AM by arunbkn

Dear All,

I am trying to load chpasswd for squid, so that user can change ther own password through web. For that I have created passwd file : /usr/local/etc/squid_passwd and changed its permission to 777 so that every body can reade and write the file through : #chmod 777 /usr/local/etc/squid_passwd.

chpasswd is working fine, but when I tried to chnage the password it says that : Could not open passwd file. Can any body help me where is the problem.
