NEWS 250829 ABOUT PuppEX Trixie64 – BUILD 250829 – with LXQt 2.1
My new Puppy Linux derivative is built using the Trixie Build Script (mklive-trixie). It is compatible with Debian "Trixie" – Debian 13. It is for UEFI computers and non-UEFI computers. Build 250829 uses LXQt 2.1 as Desktop environment (DE). “Compatible with Debian 13” means that you can use the Apt command (apt update, apt upgrade, apt install MyUsefulPackage etc.) and Synaptic for installing thousands of new Debian...

NEWS 250730 ABOUT RaspEX Kodi 64bit
I’ve made a new version of RaspEX Kodi 64bit. This version is based on Raspbian (Raspberry Pi OS) and Debian "Trixie" (upcoming Debian 13). The LXDE Desktop is replaced with LXQt , which has a more “modern look” than LXDE. "Historically, LXQt is the product of the merge between LXDE-Qt, an initial Qt flavour of LXDE, and Razor-qt, a project aiming to develop a Qt based desktop environment with similar objectives as the current LXQt"....

RaspArch BUILD 241218 for the “new” Raspberry Pi 5 (released on October 23, 2023)
RaspArch Build 241218 is a “ready-to-go” ARM (aarch64/arm64) system. It can ONLY run on a Raspberry Pi 5 computer. RaspArch Build 240302 can ALSO run on a Raspberry Pi 4 computer. I have therefore kept version 240302 on the server. All included...

ABOUT ArchEX BUILD 241128
I’ve made a new extra version of ArchEX with the LXQt 2.1 Desktop Environment. LXQt 2.1 was released 241105. LXQt is a "lightweight Qt desktop environment. It will not get in your way. It will not hang or slow down your system. It is focused on being a classic desktop with a modern look and feel". I’ve also managed to install Calamares Installer from source in ArchEX LXQt. It means that you can install ArchEX LXQt in any language. Everything will then be...
