NEWS 150108 re. Exton|Defender FC21 (Fedora 21)
I’ve made a new live version of Exton|Defender 64 bit. Now based on Fedora 21, released 141209. It uses Cinnamon 2.4.5 and kernel 3.17.7. Note: There is no official FC21 live distribution with the Cinnamon Desktop environment. Note also that I’ve added Google Chrome to make it possible to watch Netflix movies in Exton|Defender FC21.
All packages in MeX Linux have been upgraded to the latest version by 140917. Cairo-Dock has been added. The most important change is that I have replaced the install program Ubiquity with MeX Installer. The installation to hard drive is now so simple that a 10 year old child can do it. Watch a SLIDESHOW of the hard drive installation process.
I’ve made a new version of Exton|Defender 64 bit based on Fedora 20. It uses Cinnamon 2.0.14 and kernel 3.13.8.
There are now three different versions of Exton|Defender: Version 140407 – 64 bit – based on Fedora 20 with Cinnamon 2.0.14, version 140403 – 32bit – based on Mageia 4 with LXDE and version 131203 – 64bit – based on Slackware 14.1 with Xfce 4.10.
