Recommendations for Arch mirrors


I've been playing with Arch and pacman and I keep coming across incomplete mirrors so that I have to manually download the missing package and install it locally and then procede with pacman -S SOMEPACKAGE. Can someone point me to a good mirror, preferably for the U.S.?

I uncomment all the us mirrors
do you only have one uncommented?

Yes. Is this one of those RTFM things? I'm used to Slackware and slackpkg where you only uncomment a single mirror. BTW, I was looking at your nflux screenshots, they looked nice.

How does one generate locales in slackware
as in arch with "sudo locale-gen"

how does one choose locales in slack?

No clue outside of the installer options.

You can use "rankmirrors" to select the best repo mirrors:
