Manjaro xfce stable won't boot from the hard disk after installation.

Hi: I wrote the manjaro-xfce-17.1.6-stable-x86_64.iso image onto a USB stick and booted from the stick, having chosen 'driver=nonfree' in the initial menu. Then I got into the GUI and clicked 'Installation'. Then I booted from the hard disk but only got this on the screen:
Code:
Loading Linux 4.14.21-1-MANJARO x64...
Loading initial ramdisk...
And the machine freezed. What can posssibly be the cause? The machine is an Acer Aspire One Cloudbook 14 with Celeron N3050 processor and 32 GB eMMC "hard disk".
