google chrome won't open

Hey,

This issue has been posted in the Google Help Forum, that being how the newest version does not open for many as it should. I being among those it will not open. A Bug report has been sent to Google and my question is how long on average does it take fro a Bug fix to be made?

Does it depend on how many people report the same Bug, or is the attitude one of "We'll fix it when we fix it"

Wen you launch Chrome, you may get a blank banner at the top, bu nothing else, as in my instance. It is difficult to close the Chrome you have.

So I am most interested in knowing if a downgrade to the previous of Chrome a viable option when and where the bug ws not there?

so, what did you report? Just...that it wont open? How about opening it in the console, I'm interested to see what it says. As you know if you open something in the console, that very console beecomes the errorlog/dump...
Please do...I did, this is what I had:
Code:
[melissa@Avalon ~]$ chromium

Hey,

I did not make the 'Bug' report myself others did that. Here is what I got when opening Chrome in the terminal:

"[havenor@localhost ~]$ google-chrome-stable
[4147:4177:1102/051518:ERROR:logging.h(810)] Failed to call method: org.kde.KWallet.isEnabled: object_path= /modules/kwalletd: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.kde.kwalletd was not provided by any .service files
[4147:4177:1102/051518:ERROR:native_backend_kwallet_x.cc(396)] Error contacting kwalletd (isEnabled)
[4147:4177:1102/051518:ERROR:logging.h(810)] Failed to call method: org.kde.KWallet.isEnabled: object_path= /modules/kwalletd: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
[4147:4177:1102/051518:ERROR:native_backend_kwallet_x.cc(396)] Error contacting kwalletd (isEnabled)
[17:17:0100/000000:FATAL:zygote_linux.cc(420)] Failed to synchronise with parent zygote process
Illegal instruction"

Tried it with 'Chrome' and it went nowhere, then 'google-chrome' and it came up with what you see above.
