Archlinux ARM Beginners Guide

Hello!

I've decided to buy a Raspberry pi 3 and run Archlinux ARM on it. I managed to put it on a sdcard and got it running so far.
I once set up archlinux on a desktop following the Archlinux.org documentation but it's been a while and scince i have not that much time to become familiar with these things i still am a bit lost with just the command prompt and only root user.

I've tried to make a to-do list how to custom my raspberry pi but at the moment i even fail setting locales and keyboard layout and i have no idea what the most important steps are. Do you know any good guides for Archlinux ARM?

Thank you.

Presumably you used the installation instructions at https://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/a...raspberry-pi-3. If so you have a default non-root user alarm. Use that user and sudo. First thing is to change that password.
At the top of the archlinuxarm.org page is a link to the ARM fora - go join that.

As for the rest, the standard guide(s) are the way to go. There are some variances, but pacman hides most/all from you, and you just install what you need as normal. Any "one-off" packages (like kernel source) are hosted on git.
