xsession errors, can't reach local host, printing


I can't seem to reach local host, I can get on internet,but not local host. I just noticed there was an xcession error log as follows:

I can't make heads or tales of it so there may be something in there.
Also have another question do I have to use cups or is there another way to install a printer. I was using Mint 19 but that version is something I got tired of fighting. Any help or advice is gratefully appreciated.
