Never used MX Linux before. Some questions

Hi,

This is the first time I will be using MX Linux.

I need to know some facts.

Q1) MX Linux is based on Debian right ? Since Debian 10 (stable) is out now

I want to use MX Linux which is based on Debian 10. Is there a release yet based on Debian 10?

Q2) This is my usb WiFi

Code:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 148f:7601 Ralink Technology, Corp. MT7601U Wireless Adapter
This usb wifi is supported under Ubuntu 18.04 out of the box. Will MX Linux support it ?

Q3) Does MX Linux include the non free repos by default ?

MX won't be using Buster just yet, the devs have got to start working on it, probably out in Autumn.

Most non free wifi will work, I don't know yours, but quite likely will work OTB.

You will be able to test it running 'live'.

Thanks. Is there a way to get notified by email when they release the Buster based MX ?

In the meantime you can always run the current release from a live usb to get the feel of it. And if you feel so inclined you can even enable persistence.
