Thumbs up

dolphin_oracle,

I am hugely impressed by MX-14.4.

It works superbly well on both ancient and modern hardware.

Also thumbs up for the excellent videos from you and the Linux Help Guy.

I am pretty new to this forum, but anyway, I too was very impressed with MX-14, very easy to install, and very stable, I have been using it for about 2 months now, well that is not very long, but never any problems. I would especially recommend it for someone wanting to try linux for the first time.

While I don't have MX installed, as a former MEPIS user I've been keeping an eye on things, and I have MX-14.4 on a flash drive for live sessions with home persistence. Very nice job by the community. Personally, I haven't been able to find a reason to run MX instead of Debian, but that's no knock on MX. LMDE looks like another nice Debian-based project, and I've been playing around with that one, too, but I think I'd go with the somewhat lesser-known MX over LMDE if I had to choose.
