How to repartition page size?

I currently have my pagesize partitioned in 4 different page files. I would like to get rid of 2 of them and allocate their space to the remaining 2 pages. How would I do this?

A side question, how do I know how many pages I want for my machine? Can someone explain why it is good to have more than one page file?

Thanks in advance!

Why make any changes? Specifically why do you want to consolidate 4 swap partitions into 2 swap partitions? (Hint: pagefile and its derivatives are usually associated with Windows environments.)

You should have 23 page files ... oops, I mean swap partitions.

Your question presumes that having more than one page file is good. Before you ask why it is good you should find out if it is good.

This sounds a lot like a homework assignment.

Hint: this is an AIX question, and appears to be a follow-up/dupe to the smitty question posted earlier.
Perhaps you should be a little less supercilious.

This is not a homework assignment, it's just to clarify concepts.
