I have download gcc-2.95.3.tar.gz and have untar it
but when i type ./configure
it shows a error somthing like this:
"cc not found,you must set the envirment CC to a working compiler"
what i should do next?
should i download a "cc" complier first?

Configuring for rs6000-ibm-aix host.
Create "Makefile" in /oracle/gcc-2.95.3
./configure[1462]:gcc: not found.
*** The command 'gcc -o conftest -g conftest.c' failed
*** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.
go inside the uncompressed folder and find the /bin folder in there should be all the binary executables for that particular version of GCC (i.e gcc, ld, objdump)
go inside the /bin folder and type pwd.
what ever the output for pwd is, append it to $PATH which should be in your .bashrc (if your root it is in /root/.bashrc
