du will show you disk block allocation in a filesystem
df will show filesystem usage, but is not as accurate as du because of the way free space is calculated by the df command
lspv will show you PPs on you disk
lsvg will show free LPs within the VG
lslv will show you LP : PP mapping

Play with them all to get a correct picture of disk usage...

Cheers
Mark
