Which scan-software for 4MLinux

Hi folks,

I'm new to 4MLinux but I have some experience. Which scan-software can I use for (Brother all-in-one, DCP_L3510CDW).

Regards, Lumpi

Hi,

4MLinux version? How do you connect to your printer/scanner (e.g. WiFi)? Have you run Menu>Settings>Devices>Printer/CUPS ?

.

I use gscan2pdf with my brother MFC-L2710DW on a USB-connection. Everything runs as expected. I also have skanpage but didn't try that yet.

For scanning (multiple) pages + ocr to pdf go for gscan2pdf.
For scanning photos I prefer simple-scan. But that's highly a matter of taste.
Both are most likely in your repo.

Thanks for the answers

O.K. but I tried to scan within the live-CD and get the answer, that the driver is only available when the 4MLinux is installed (newest Version). But I donīt like to install a distribution before I am not sure, that my printer/scanner will be supported.

Regards, lumpi
