Mousepad, unless I'm in the command line, when it's nano.

Due to a recent thread I have dera-... participated in (I'll curb it...I'll curb it... ):

gvim (and vim) both have mouse usage as an option (often it's enabled by default).
You an even use the arrow keys.

Granted, you should use neither, if at all possible, but yeah. Mouse selection and stuff is not something vim can't do.

Mousepad with XFCE. Of course I do very little plain text editing or coding, which is its main purpose. For most documents I use Abiword, which is more of a lightweight word processor.
