Which Office suite do you prefer?

LibreOffice. It has everything I want in an office application

Where is MS Office 2010?!!!!! Just kidding.

LibreOffice and I guess it's going to destroy its opponents in the poll as it did last year.

Switched to LibreOffice from OpenOffice as the later just has too many compile problems.

Libre Office is more complete than Gnome Office, but it's so bloated. All I need are a word processor and a spreadsheet, and the combination of abiword and gnumeric works well for me.

I think that this is the first year that both LO OOo are in the poll together

Libre Office has given me nothing but trouble.

However, I used to use Openoffice and I don't like Libreoffice

I vote for OPENOFFICE

I used to use OpenOffice but migrated to Libreoffice when it became available. The WordPro import feature allowed me to finally dump my XP dual boot.

I'm a newbie to Linux. Haven't used OO or LO much yet. I still do most of my work in MSO (because of my job). I did notice some problems with OO not translating .pps files accurately. Most of the problems were concerned with timing and effects. In the old days I used to like WordPerfect 6.0 and Lotus 1-2-3 Release 5. OK, I'm showing my age now. ()

The thing i most like is that they all work well together and that each has a niche where it outperforms the others. Generally they all cover the middle-ground well. Co-operative competition. There is no need for 1 bloated "be everything to all people", anymore especially when it's too big for a lot of machines now.

Gnome Office and Google-docs have their uses when i can't get at LO for some reason. I'm still forced to use MS Office sometimes but mostly just to check how things will look to MicroSquish users. Not really used KOffice nor Caligra much and it was a long time ago. Lotus is based on an old version of OOo. OOo has now become AOO.

It might be nice to see some others in there. Google-docs, NeoOffice (also based on an old OOo), whatever iThings use by default and yes, why not MS Office!?

It is good to have this pole annually or thereabouts. Is there going to be an easy link to last year's results?
