PCLinuxOS is also nice to use.

However I think the one that really is the bee's knees is PuppyLinux.

It's sheer speed compared with most (if not all) installed ones I've tried is nothing short of phenomenal.

It does just about everything you could want it to do. Top marks to the team there, I'm becoming a convert


Oh just cos the head designer is an ozzie doesn't mean I'm biassed, lolol

Smile Studio 64

I've just found a debian based distro called Studio 64. Its very easy to use, uses the Synaptic Package Manager for updating, and generally runs like a dream.

I have tested about 8 different Live cd's, the most user friendly install experience with the best post install config tools and, In my opinion, The most helpful user forum has been PCLinuxOS .93 (Big Daddy version).

btw, Ubuntu is our second preferred distro at FBK.
