Installing Open BSD over multiple hard disks

My 700 MB hard disk was not big enough for my Open BSD needs so i bought an additional 500MB hard disk. I would like to put /usr on the 500MB hard disk. Can anyone tell me how this would be done.

Well you have to fdisk(8) the new drive (consult the man page) then create a disklabel(8) the new drive. Finally you want to cp -R (or rsync) the current contents of /usr to the new disk (mount the disk on /mnt/newdsk, or something like that). Once everything has correctly copied and you've verified it, you can rm -rf /usr/* and then mount /usr on the second disk. You'll also want to edit /etc/fstab so that the next time you reboot it will mount the new drive on /usr.
