Anything like lspci? Need to find my soundcard.

Hello,

I'm new to bsd and am having trouble with sound. The first step in the help file I've found, is of course to find out what type of sound card I have.

I'm used to Debian and lspci. What utilities can I use to list my system hardware?

pciconf would do the trick. If you install pciutils, I think the command lspci would work as well.

If you need help configuring your sound card, check FreeBSD (if you are using FreeBSD, hehe). Still the best *nix documentation around to date, in my honest opinion

lspci will list all the components using pci.

Not on FreeBSD. Its pciconf (pciconf -lv).
