Will BSD and Red HAT versions of Apache be compatible


Hello
Can anyone tell me if the apache for BSD and Red Hat be compatible.I am an novice in these areas.The problem my server running on Red Hat Linux 6.2 was hacked by a Roamanian guy he has crated a id tech 2002 in /etc/passwd file.he has done that to many Red Hat system.So we have decided to install BSD.But will the APACE,MYSQL and PHP be compatible in the two versions.

You will be running the same softwares on both, just
the source programs was recompiled to FreeBSD.

FreeBSD also have a "linux emulation" to run Linux
binaries without recompilation.

But if you want a secure "just-out-the-box" webserver,
give OpenBSD a try.
