Using PointyHat binaries for FreeBSD??

Someone told me that they used the binaries from PointyHat so they had some more up-to-date binaries for the bigger things rather than building from ports... i.e. - KDE, OOo, etc..

I cannot for the life of me figure out how/where do install binaries from pointyhat... if someone caoul let me know.. or point me to some docs.. that'd be great.. thanks.

well, i ended up getting it.. It's all in the PACKAGESITE variable.. so simply:

Code:
setenv PACKAGESITE http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/errorlogs/i386-5-packages-full/Latest/
and then pkg_add -r <whatever>

if you want it permanently.. you can set it in the /root/.cshrc file
