tor - waiting for response

I've just setup tor+privoxy in openbsd & the services start fine. I start both tor and privoxy as root from xterm. For the first few requests it works but then it stops working. It ways "http request sent. waiting for response from site.com" and I cannot see anything else!

Here's the output of tor start -

Quote:
Jun 29 18:49:08.587 [notice] connection_create_listener(): Opening Socks listener on 127.0.0.1:9050

Jun 29 18:49:09.929 [notice] We now have enough directory information to build circuits.

Jun 29 18:49:18.317 [notice] Tor has successfully opened a circuit. Looks like client functionality is working.
I have debug 1 set in privoxy but in the log file sometimes I see the request to the website going out and sometimes I cannot see anything at all.

I start both tor and privoxy as root from xterm.
You know both should run as lesser or privless users.

For the first few requests it works but then it stops working. It says "http request sent. waiting for response from site.com"
If network and both apps are working fine then it could be site-specific.
I'd suggest setting Tor logging to debug and try again.
In Privoxy you can make combinations of debug levels, dunno if any would help.
