request info best board freeBSD / openBSD

I have been reading some posts on freeBSD and mentions of openBSD.

other than google/groups
Any recommendations on OTHER than this user board for these 2 nix systems?

I just want to lurk b4 gleaning your knowledge

Skip down to the PCI IDE controllers, which is basically the chipset on the board. AGP bridges are the big deal, hardware accelerated graphics are a longshot always.
