Hello everyone. I'm currently in the process of installing OpenBSD 3.1 via FTP.

So far its been fairly easy, however i've run across a snag when it comse to specifing the FTP site/directory.

Basically, i get to the point where I set up the network (i use cable modem so I select DHCP)

It sends out the DHCPDISCOVER packet and is issued a IP address.

Now, when it says to specify a FTP site, this is where I have some problems.

Is it just ftp.openbsd.org ?

Also, do I need to put the correct path in the install area so it will automatically locate the directory?

if you allow it to show you a list of servers, you should be able to choose "1" for ftp.openbsd.org after it shows you the entire list. it will give you a default path to choose; accept its default and it will display the packages. shouldn't be any harder than that
