autoprofile

Hi there, trying to install autoprofile 2.10 and I have gaim 1.4.0_1. (On freebsd 6.0 beta 1)

I do a ./configure on the gaim source, then I go to autoprofile and type make autoprofile.so and none of the headers (.h files) are detected from gaim.

P.S. I did change the directories in the Makefile, as linux and unix's directories are handled differently.

Any ideas?

Hmmm. You probably did this, but I would go to gaim in /usr/ports/net, do a "make all && make install" (but not a make clean), then download the autoprofile source to a temp directory, tamper with its Makefile to point to the gaim headers and then see what happens.

Of course, YMMV, and what do *I* know anyway!

Cheers--
Charles

Cool. I'll try it out and see what happens.
