Problem instaling Zorin OS 12 - Installation stuck at retreiving file 36 of 36

Hi all,

I am a newbie and I am trying to install Zorin OS 64bit. The installation is stuck for last 20 mins at a point where it says retrieving file 36 of 36 (let say after 1-2 mins of installation starts). I am trying to install using USB drive FAT32 FDD. Please help me with the installation. Thank you.

I have never install zorin so can't speak to the install procedure or dialogs. Does your hardware support 64 bit? Are you installing from a thumb drive? What hardware are you installing to: pc, laptop, etc. Need more information.

Guesses.

Bad download or some issue with memory or hard drive.

How did you make this usb drive?

Yes the hardware supports 64 bit. I am installing from usb drive on a pc. I am burning usb drive on a windows laptop and trying to install in a pc.

I am using universal USB Installer 1.9.7.9 for burning usb installer. I have tried multiple downloads both 32bit and 64bit and this one does not work. The installation gets stuck at installing file 36 of 36 and I see there are warnings that some ID could not be found. Thanks!
