problem with Cirrus Graphic Card

I've installed vector on my friend PC, there are no problem when i'm installing it. And then i run xf86config to configure X, and i choose Cirrus GD5446 from the graphic card section. I am sure that is the correct graphic card because when i #lspci that device is listed as the VGA.

The problem is when i start X the monitor is crashed like it is out of resolution or something...but i'm sure i've picked the right resolution "800x600".
When i manage to quit from X i see this message :
(EE)CIRRUS:Unable to locate MMIO .....

Please tell me how to solve this problem...i still think this is graphic card related problem i guess...

Thank's before

From one of the posts at http://www.vectorlinux.com/forum/ :
Quote:
5- Problem: Bug with cirrus driver

5- Solution:
Edit file /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
Change the following lines:

Section "Device"
Driver "cirrus"

to:
Section "Device"
Driver "vesa"
You could give that a try.
