Xubuntu 12.10 .gvfs folder missing

Hi all,

HHHmmm, this is an odd one.

I have searched and cannot find the asnwer to this one.

I have a new and updated install of xUbuntu 12.10 and the .gvfs folder is missing.

I am mounting samba shares via mount.cifs to get to the shares and mounts through the command line and crossover/wine etc.

Where'd the .gvfs folder go though?

The samba shares mount through thunar and nautilus. They appear in file/folder panel in nautilus, no problem and are browsable, but no .gvfs folder is created in the home folder where I'd expected it to be.

Anyone got any ideas?

ok. Fixed it! Or more over, found it!

Was this in the release notes? Which makes me somewhat a dill :-)

In xUBuntu 12.10 the gvfs folder is now at /run/user/YOUR_USER_NAME/gvfs
