Will Linux Recognize RAID

I know RAID 0 is not true RAID because there is no redundancy.

However, will it recognize RAID 0 and RAID 1 along with other levels of raid or not?

Yes, it will recognize most RAID cards.

I run (software) RAID1 on my Ubuntu machines and they work fine.

Mine doesn't seem to recognize RAID 0. No one seems to consider it true RAID because it has no redundancy.
