Thumbs down Upgraded to Kubuntu 22.04 (from 20) and now wireless is gone (lots of logs included)


Wireless was working fine on the previous version of Kubuntu. Now that I've upgraded, I am unable to see any wireless networks.

The obvious thing I see is that the adapter is disabled, but I am unable to enable it.

I fixed it. The issue was that a backported driver was being loaded.

Fixed with:

sudo apt purge backport-iwlwifi-dkms
