Hi all,
I've just set up a system with Ubuntu Server on it, and I'm trying to install subversion, however when I try to run:
sudo apt-get install subversion libapache2-svn
I get:
E: Couldn't find package subversion
I've uncommented all the URLs in /etc/apt/sources.list, and run apt-get update. apt-cache search finds nothing if I look for subversion, although it will find stuff if I look for, say, apache. Proxy and network settings are all fine as far as I can tell.
When I run apt-get update, it gives me quite a few errors though - a stream of '... is not a bzip2 file' messages at the start, then a lot of stuff fails to be fetched with this message:
Sub-process /bin/bzip2 returned an error code (2)
Any suggestions? I need to get a subversion server up and running
Thanks in advance!
